The Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac starts on 17th February 2026. In this season we shed the year of the Snake and instead channel the strength and passion of the horse. Hang up this little reminder for yourself and others as we move into a new chapter.
The artwork is taken from a collection of photographs titled The Horse in Motion, produced by photographer Eadweard Muybridge in 1878. The series depicts the successive phases of the movement of a horse, captured scientifically for the very first time. It became the first example of chronophotography, an early method of photographically recording the passing of time. When put together, the full sequence of the horse can be seen in motion.
There are 16 different stills but only a handful of each design so each order will be surprise!
